Amanda Parra started modeling professionally more than 20 years ago, signing with Wilhelmina Models in the early 2000’s. Without the proper training and instruction, she found it difficult to navigate the industry and took a very long break from fashion.  She was signed with I and I Agency in Kansas City from 2018-2023.  In 2022, she signed with The Block Agency giving her national exposure through jobs and campaigns that she books with them.  Amanda signed with West Model & Talent Management in St Louis in late 2023, and in early 2024 signed with VoicesAnd in Kansas City and with Stewart Talent in Chicago.

For anyone who is excited and motivated to learn, Amanda will help prepare her clients for anything!  For parents who have a child in the industry, she helps them understand they need grace and patience to be successful.  Amanda makes it a point to discuss mental health, setting boundaries, and understanding the truth of what is expected of talent. In addition, she believes that learning how to build relationships with designers, stylists and all clients/agents is one of the most important things that is often overlooked.  

Amanda's motto is, “Don’t make it about you. Make it about the client with respect for yourself.” She is a straight-talker who loves to watch her students excel and fall in love with their work.  

Side note: Amanda is High-Functioning Autistic and has ADHD.  She has learned how this can be a superpower in the industry...as "the Neuro-Divergent are not excluded from working in this industry!”
