Darci Clark began her modeling career at the young age of 16 when she auditioned for and was signed by John Robert Powers, a modeling school and agency in the Kansas City area in 2004. In 2009 she signed with her local agency, Voices And. In 2010, she was signed with The Campbell Agency’s runway division in Dallas and in 2013 she also signed with West Model Management in St. Louis, and in 2023 she signed with Wilhelmina Denver. Darci is always striving to improve her skills and believes you are never too good to stop learning. She has received one-on-one runway coaching from the legendary Jan Strimple and has also attended Coco Rocha Model Camp in NYC.
Darci enjoys being a part of the local fashion industry, and has served as a board member for Kansas City Fashion Council, Inc. and as the Model Director for Runway Review KC. She has walked the runway not only for local designers, but for notable brands such as Ralph Lauren, Armani, Harbison, and Brunello Cucinelli. Some of her favorite campaigns include Wendy’s, Sporting Kansas City and PacSun.
After navigating the difficult modeling industry at a young age and with little guidance, Darci felt compelled to create her blog ‘My Model Reality' to share her knowledge with other aspiring models.
Darci’s goal has always been to be that mentor she wishes she had early in her career. Covering everything from model safety and mental health to building lasting relationships with agents and clients, she is always open and honest about the good and the not-so-good aspects of the modeling industry. She loves watching her students excel and achieve their goals, and considers herself to be one of their biggest cheerleaders!
